Hierarchy of infinities

As $x\to+\infty$ the elementary functions tend to infinity at different speeds. Ordering them from the slowest to the fastest allows one to resolve immediately many indeterminate $\infty/\infty$ forms: the “slower” function is negligible compared with the “faster” one.
